1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Summer Slice LLC ("Summer Slice," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of Zaqat (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and Account Registration
- You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
- You are responsible for maintaining account credential confidentiality and all activity under your account.
- You must notify us promptly of unauthorized access or suspected compromise.
3. Description of the Service
Zaqat provides tools and features to help users organize financial information and perform zakat-related calculations and workflows. Features may rely on third-party integrations (including Plaid) and are subject to availability and third-party terms.
4. Financial Data Integrations
- If you connect financial accounts, you authorize us and integration partners (such as Plaid) to access and process required data.
- Your use of integrated services may be subject to additional third-party terms and privacy policies.
- We are not responsible for accuracy, availability, or actions of third-party institutions or providers.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or related infrastructure.
- Reverse engineer, copy, or exploit the Service except as allowed by law.
- Upload malicious code or abuse/overload the Service with automation.
6. User Content and Data
- You retain ownership of content and data you submit, subject to these Terms.
- You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and use your data to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- You represent that you have rights and permissions necessary for submitted content.

Zaqat provides informational tools and calculations and does not provide legal, tax, investment, or religious rulings. You are responsible for obtaining professional or scholarly advice as needed.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUMMER SLICE LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Summer Slice LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Termination
- You may stop using the Service at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, pose a security risk, or where required by law.
- Provisions that should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
